 Senator Victor Umeh meets with Labour Party Candidates and key Party Executives in Anambra Central, calls for synergy and people-oriented campaigns.

In the over 4 hours of brainstorming comprising Chairmen of the Party in the seven Local Governments in Anambra Central, House of Representatives Candidates, and House of Assembly flag-bearers of the Labour Party, Senator Umeh emphasized the need for a robust engagement with the people especially in Anambra Central, the Senatorial District of the Party's Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi (whom the entire Country crave to make their President).

He maintained that Mr Peter Obi is on a divine mission in Nigeria thus, requires every support from his people to gain enough confidence in the struggle to save Nigeria from total collapse.

On his part, the State Chairman of the Labour Party, Chief Ugochukwu Emeh thanked Senator Umeh for setting the ball rolling and maintained that hence the die is cast, going-forward, the Candidates and the Party leadership would synergize to achieve the needed effects/results.

Chief Emeh further stressed that the Labour Party has structures in all the Wards within and outside Anambra Central, and maintained that the voting pattern will be for Labour Party, "from top to bottom" ( President, Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly).

ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHAPLAINCY NDIORA EZINATO BLESSES SENATOR IYOM UCHE EKWUNIFE, CHIEF EMEKA IGWE AND BARR JOSIAH IFEDI AS THEY JOINED THEM FOR THEIR ANNUAL AUGUST MEETING. 

It was indeed a timely visit, as the PDP candidates for Senate Anambra Central; DistinguishedSenator Iyom Uche Ekwunife, House of Representatives Awka North and South; Emeka Igwe and ASHA Awka Constituency ||; Barr Josiah Ifedi joined the Catholic Women Organisation of St. James Catholic Chaplaincy Ndiora Ezinato as they dedicated their August Meeting to the almighty God during the 9am Mass by the Parish priest. 

The Parish priest who immediately summoned the Candidates to the Altar for a dedication prayer, proclaimed that indeed light has come for the people of the various constituencies to be represented by these candidates. 

While blessing the candidates he maintained that it has been revealed that these set of candidates will emerge as number 1 ( Victorious) for the respective positions they are vying for. 

Etoo Dike when given audience to address the congregation,  thanked them immensely for their invitation to join them and most especially to the parish priest for such a wonderful prayer and dedication to the Almighty God.

He eulogised the women for the persistence and commitment towards making the society a better and also for their roles as unifiers and home makers.

He charged them to remain steadfast and  focused in discharging their duties as mothers. 

The envoy included Hon. Barr Kenneth Arinze,  Hon. Ifeanyi Morgonu, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Nwamuo amongst others. 

Ndiora Ezinato has proclaimed their blessings, sending a signal that whom God has blessed, let no man try to cause.

For indeed this trio are already blessed by the Almighty God and destined for success. 

Ndiora Ezinato women has declared their stand and it is entirely for PDP come 2023.!

There are two principal roles of the legislator in the Nigerian system; lawmaking and implementation of constituency projects.

Lawmaking is a collective job of all members of Parliament. A bill introduced by a member is subjected to debates and amendments. Most times, a different version of what was originally submitted, is what is finally approved. There are limits to what a member can achieve on bills.

With constituency projects, things are different. The legislator has more control over the items that have been approved and the money released for his constituency. From this point, it's now a question of the representative's love for his people and matter of honesty.

Hon Peter Ibida has set high records with execution of constituency projects as a State legislator. The pictures are available - in case you have not seen them all physically. He has done similarly across towns from personal funds in charity and philanthropy.

In touch with the people and with  deepening sense of service, he can only do better when he gets to Abuja.

It's not enough for anyone to say I have experience for the job. Show what you achieved when you had the opportunity. 

Ibida's exploits are there on ground to make Njikoka, Dunukofia, Anaocha federal constituency clamour for him to represent them.

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, felicitates the President General of Nri Kingdom, Chief Dr Kelvin Obiegbunam (Oba Ochendo) as he marks his birthday anniversary, today, August 2, 2022.

Ekwunife joins family, friends and well-wishers in thanking God for his abundant blessings on Chief Obiegbunam. She describes the President General as an exemplary and passionate community leader.
