_...As Central Primary School, Obeledu, Anaocha LGA Takes Delivery of Classroom Seats_

As part of her avowed commitment towards uplifting the standard of education in the state, the senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, has achieved another legislative milestone, by commencing the second batch of donation of classroom furniture to selected schools in the zone.

The federal lawmaker's gesture is borne out of her commitment towards ensuring that her constituents acquire the best education in a conducive learning environment.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, the headmistress of Central Primary School, Obeledu, Anaocha LGA, Mrs. Asuzu R. M lauded Ekwunife for her people-centered representation, saying that her passion to raise the bar of excellence in representation is incomparable. She noted that the strides recorded by Ekwunife in the National Assembly would outlive generations.

According to the headmistress who was represented by Mrs. Amajuo Caroline, "The constituents will reward Ekwunife with another mandate to continue with her effective representation in the red chamber."

In his remarks, the Vice Chairman School Base Management Committee of the school, Comrade Paulinus Onwubuogu expressed that the rare gesture was timely, adding that lack of classroom furniture has been one of challenges facing the school. He thanked the A-grade lawmaker for coming to their rescue, assuring that the Obeledu community and the management of the school will massively support her re-election bid for uninterrupted dividends of democracy.

Speaking on behalf of the pupils, Miss Maryann Emeuwa urged constituents who have attained the age of 18 to endeavour to register for their PVC and vote back Ekwunife into the National Assembly. She described her as a promise keeping lawmaker and prayed for her success in the upcoming general elections.

Earlier, the Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation who was represented by her legislative aide, Mrs. Ify Chinwuko noted that she would continue to contribute to the development of the education sector.

Chimamanda Adichie, to Mr. Peter Obi, on his 61st birthday.

Chimamanda Adichie, to Mr. Peter Obi, on his 61st birthday.

Happy Birthday to Peter Obi, my dearest Big Bro:

I will never forget your kindness to my beloved parents. Thank you for the respect you showed them, for your many visits to Abba, where you gave to Daddy and Mummy the most precious gifts: your time and your attention.

Thank you for walking this still-unbearable journey of grief with my siblings and me.

I remember how you regaled Daddy and Mummy with your stories until we started joking about your obsession with the “GDP of Malaysia.” But your obsession spoke of hope: your hope for Nigeria, your belief in what Nigeria could be. A belief that has always been practical, grounded in numbers and in reality.

I remember when you came to support me as I was being honored by the United Nations Foundation in New York, and I teased you about the inexpensive hotel you were staying in, and you shrugged and said, “it’s just a place to sleep, why do I need to be in an expensive place?”

And then only days later, you once again exhibited your incredible generosity to the causes you believe in, and it reminded me of all the hospitals and schools and churches you have supported over the years, and often without fanfare. You have always been clear about what your priorities are, what matters to you, what you believe should matter, and that is deeply admirable.

I have always admired your humane pragmatism, how you are willing to talk to almost anyone if it will bring about a good outcome.

And how you believe in certain ideals without being an ideologue.

And how you see people as people, knowing that human value is not measured in material terms.

And how you are able to laugh at yourself, and laugh when I tease you about your ‘one shoe and one shirt.’

And how you have always been consistent in the core of who you are.

Thank you for your compassion and your circumspection. For your honesty and your humour. For your willingness to acknowledge flaws, yours and others’, knowing that nobody is perfect. For your fuss-free kindness and your humility that is never performative.

I am inspired by your intellectual curiosity, your eagerness to learn, your genuine love of education (which is why you sought out, and honored, Daddy all those years ago when you learned that he was Nigeria’s first professor of statistics.)

Sometimes it is the simplest of language that captures the most complex of things, and so I will end with simplicity: You are a good man. You are loved. You are appreciated.

May your eyes continue to light up when you talk about the lovely confident Margaret (Thank God she agreed for you!) and your lovely children, A and E.

May joy follow you and yours always.

Mummy called you her ‘first son,’ my siblings and I call you our 'big bro,' and I cannot wait to call you ‘My President.’

I cannot wait for February 25, 2023, when I, with personal pride in you and with hope for what Nigeria can become, will cast my vote for you and your running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.

Chukwu dube gi. God Keep you.

With love, Chimamanda.

Heart Attacks- - -

Drinking Warm

Water:

This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal,

but about Heart Attack's . The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their

meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt

their drinking habit while

eating. For those who like to drink cold water, this

article is applicable to

you. It is very Harmful to have Cold Drink/Water during a meal. Because,

the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you

have just consumed. It will

slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge'

reacts with the acid, it will break down and be

absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats

and lead to cancer . It is best to drink hot soup

or warm water after a meal.

French fries and Burgers

are the biggest enemy of heart health. A coke after that gives more power to

this demon. Avoid them for

your Heart's & Health.

Drink one glass of warm water just when you are about to go to bed to avoid clotting of the blood at night to avoid heart attacks or strokes.

DIGEST WITH THE REGENT NRI KINGDOM

DIGEST WITH THE REGENT NRI KINGDOM

His Majesty

Prince Ikenna O. Onyesoh

[Idebutaku Na Nri],

The Traditional Regent Of Ancient Nri kingdom,

The citadel of Igbo Culture and Tradition has during an interface with the press this afternoon elucidated the very need for every individual to be consistent in his or her own chosen field of human endeavor.

His Majesty who made this known today in a chart with the media at the people's royal palace, stated emphatically that

It is highly unlikely for any individual to achieve greater feats in life taking CONSISTENCY out of the horoscope and painstaking consideration.

Going further he noted that greater achievements and most legacy projects are only made possible through a consolidated

consistent smart decision making.

He made it clear that one thing which is visibly common with unsuccessful people in life is lack of CONSISTENT developmental master plan; and FOCUSED initiative.

In a question and answer session with the press on the subject matter under review,

His Majesty posed that being consistent is to be steadily dedicated to carrying on with the activities of one's daily endeavor with clear visions to achieve successes at the long run..

He stated that to be consistent is a commitment one would have to make for one's self and others, noting that the level of one's CONSISTENCY is a determining factor to one's VALUES and STANDARDS.

On the issue of Why People Struggle with Consistency,

His Majesty pointed out that many other several reasons why most young entrepreneurs and business owners struggle with consistency could be outlined as follows:

•Lack of patience,

•Lack of clearity on mission and vision,

•Holding unto an undetailed action plan.

•Overly desire for instant gratification.

•Lack of clarity in  focus and thoughts.

He illustrated that even the renowned leadership expert John C. Maxwell agreed to the fact that

“Small disciplines repeated with consistency every day lead to great achievements gained slowly over time.”

On what young people must do to remain Consistent in the field of their own chosen, His Majesty Has this to say..

Herein outlined under are a few factors young business builders must consider to remain relevantly  consistent and successful in the field of their own chosen.

•First is to develop a well thought out and actionable plan.

•Second is clearly state your goals to tarlly around your achieveble master plan.

•Third is to allocate time to your action plan and on every activity that will mature your vision to reality.

•Take Notice to your triggers and the things that motivates you.

•Review your progress and ask for feedback regularly.

•Celebrate your successes and victories when  achieved, it helps you maintain momentum and stay motivated.

In his final advise to the youths.

In his final advise,

His Majesty The Regent maintained that Consistency is Action, just like Successes and Victories are product of action.

Therefore ACTION becomes an important catalyst to one's business success.

He appreciated the media crew for being consistent and staying through to the values of the profession...
