NEVER MOCK THESE 3 SETS OF PEOPLE!

NEVER MOCK THESE 3 SETS OF PEOPLE!

1. Never mock your HUSBAND:

2. Never mock your FATHER

3. Never mock a true SERVANT OF GOD:

Your husband is the head of your family. This is God's order.

Mocking him is defying the laws of God.

Micah mocked David her husband. *She called him a " vain fellow shamelessly uncovering himself". Her womb was closed. She never had a child for David.

When you begin to call your husband names, you are in for serious trouble.

When you mock your husband, it will adversely affect the innocent children.  (Read 2 Samuel 6)

2. Never mock your FATHER:

The Bible is very clear and explicit. Reuben went to sleep with his father's concubine and he ended up with a curse. This is mockery.

Absalom chased his father away from the throne. He died unceremoniously.

Whatever you do to bring shame to your father is mockery.

Mothers, never instigate your children against their father. It will be too dangerous for them.

Whatever disagreements you have with their father stops with you. Do not extend it.

Remember, the Bible only talks about the Father's Blessing. Let the heart of their father bless the children.

Malachi 4:6 says... whosoever separates children from their father, upon them shall be a curse. (NLT)

If you are guilty of this, please humble yourself and go and make things right with your father. If you don't, life will be a struggle for you. Be wise.

3. Never mock a true SERVANT OF GOD: Some youths came out of nowhere and began to chant a mockery song against Elisha.

They were torn into pieces by bears.

I met an elderly man in Benin who shared his experience.

He said, on the morning Archbishop Benson Idahosa's death was announced, he was so excited because he hated the man with passion.

He said he sent for two of his friends and they began to toast to Archbishop's death.

While still making noise and bantering in his sitting room, some people ran into his house and told him a gravel tipper had just knocked down his son on his way to lectures at Uniben. The young undergraduate died on the spot.

The elderly man in his seventies said..... 'I have learnt never to mock a true servant of God'.

I have a praying group. One of the women there approached me to come lead the husband to Christ on his death bed.

In humility, the man surrendered his life to Jesus and there was an aura of peace on his embattled face.

Before he breathed his last, he said...... "All my life, I have mocked servants of God.

We are 5 friends and all of them died this way. I am the last of them but now I have made peace with God"

Never join anyone to mock true servants of God.

Job said, what I do not know, I searched out. This is the wisdom of great people. Wise people do not despise SPIRITUAL DIGNITARIES.

China’s President Writes Buhari

Chinese President, Xi Jinping, says his country will use the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Nigeria to promote the strategic partnership to new heights.

President Xi said this in a letter he wrote to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Chinese leader appreciated Buhari’s congratulatory letter on the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the Peoples Republic of China, which came up on October 1.

This was disclosed in a statement by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Friday.

Nigeria is an important strategic partner of China in Africa. China-Nigeria cooperation has been the pacesetter of China-Africa cooperation,’’ President Xi said.

President Xi said he attached great importance to the development of China-Nigeria relations, and assured President Buhari that his country would spare no effort in strengthening existing relations.

The President lauded the 50 years of robust diplomatic relationship between Nigeria and China, noting that it has yielded benefits for both countries.

Buhari stated that he looks forward to the upliftment of the bilateral ties between the two nations

Femi Otedola Takes Over First Bank Of Nigeria

Femi Otedola Becomes First Banks’s Largest Shareholder, To Takeover

From having a humongous loan portfolio of N192 billion in 2012 via his then Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd which was eventually passed on to the Asset Management Company of Nigeria, billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola has today taken over First Bank of Nigeria Plc with his recent acquisition of about N30 billion worth of shares, making him the single largest shareholder of the bank.

What this invariably means is that being the largest shareholder, he holds the highest voting shares and can dictate the direction of the bank through his voting power.

In 2019 when he divested his 75% direct and indirect shareholding in Forte Oil, via a merger of his company Zenon Oil and former African Petroleum, many wondered why he made such a decision especially because of the lucrative nature of the oil and gas sector.

They became all the more curious as to what his next move would be. He didn’t keep them guessing too long as he soon announced that he wanted to explore and maximize business opportunities in refining and petrochemicals.

Even though he also had investments in the real estate and financial sector, Otedola singled out First Bank for the single reason that there wasn’t exactly one man calling the shots there, unlike in other new generation banks.

He wasted no time in taking advantage of the leadership crisis that rocked First Bank not too long ago that the Central Bank of Nigeria sacking both the chairman of the bank, Ibukun Awosika and Obafemi Otudeko, the chairman of FBN Holdings.

TECH LORD! Elon Musk Set To Become First Trillionaire On Earth

Elon Musk, the world’s most renowned entrepreneur and the CEO of two of the world’s largest companies, SpaceX and Tesla, is set to become the world’s first trillionaire.

According to The Guardian, analysts at Morgan Stanley have predicted that Musk, 50, could become the world’s first trillionaire, largely thanks to his aerospace company SpaceX.

The analysis estimates that his aerospace company SpaceX will push Musk over the trillion-dollar mark in the coming years.

Though humans have yet to reach Mars, one of Musk’s goals for the company via SpaceX’s Starship, the advanced launch system already has high expectations following the success of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon.

Earlier this month, the valuation of SpaceX increased to $100.3 billion, up from $74 billion in February, according to CNBC.

The valuation made SpaceX, which Musk owns about 48% of the corporation, the world’s second-biggest privately held company, The Guardian states.

SpaceX has celebrated a number of milestones this year, including successfully launching and landing a Starship rocket for the first time. Last month, SpaceX sent the first all-civilian crew into orbit.

Musk is currently estimated to have a $242 billion net worth, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Tesla still remains his biggest asset.

Bezos, currently the second-richest person in the world, per Bloomberg, is estimated to have a net worth of $197 billion, followed by Bernard Arnault ($163 billion), Bill Gates ($133 billion) and Mark Zuckberg ($127 billion).

State of the Nation: Nnamdi Kanu, Igboho: Buhari’s govt has come to its wit’s end — Afenifere

Prosecution will compound agitations, ill wind, will blow Buhari administration, Nigeria no good

Dayo Johnson Akure

Afenifere, the Pan Yoruba Socio-Political Group has said that the Federal government has come to its wits end in the case with the Biafran leader, Nnamdi Kanu and other self agitators in the country.

Its General Secretary, Chief Sola Ebiseni in a statement issued in Akure said that ” Without prejudice to the determination of the case by the Court it is clear that its end will certainly compound agitations on the national question, an ill-wind that will blow the Buhari administration and Nigeria no good.

The statement reads ” With the amended seven counts charges against Nnamdi Kanu, as released by the press, it appears the Federal Government has come to its wit’s end in the case with the Biafran Leader and self-determination agitations generally.

” lt is time that the Attorney General, Abubakar Malami exercised authoritative superintendence over his office as the Chief Law Officer and Adviser of the Federal Government in a way that the interest of the nation may be served than indulging in petty politicking to massage the ego and pander to the personal idiosyncrasies of the President.

For instance, the alleged name-calling of Muhammadu Buhari, in April 2015, even before he became the President, would ordinarily be ignored as childish vulgar abuse unworthy of a high profile criminal prosecution.

” ln all the other charges, Kanu is either being prosecuted for alleged statements made in a foreign land as alleged Leader of the proscribed IPOB inciting secession from Nigeria or threatened that anyone who flouted his sit-at-home order should prepare his or her Will.

“It leaves a sour taste in the mouth of serious-minded people that the reason for Kanu’s day in Court was an alleged broadcast that “In 2 weeks’ time, what will happen will shake the world, people will die, the whole world will stand still, mark my word”.

“Months have gone by since May when he allegedly made the statement abroad the apocalypse is not yet here.

“While such inciting statements are punishable under the relevant laws, it is instructive that Government did not say anything about the intended outcome except allegations that “banks, schools, markets, shopping malls, fuel stations were not opened for businesses and vehicular movements grounded” thereby.

” lt is saddening, speaks of multiple standards in the governance of Nigeria and a sad commentary on the unity of Nigeria that this same government has in the hallowed recesses of its administration and in charge of a most sensitive Ministry of Communications Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami whose statements is of a higher incendiary propensity than those of Kanu and with possible aggravated heinous consequences.

“Yet has Government not deemed it important to investigate such statements declaring support for Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, their leaders and activities including “we are all happy whenever unbelievers are being killed,” and that no believers should work for a secular government.

“There are other terrible allegations which the Presidency took in its stride because the guy has apologised.

“The outcome of this prosecution which is lacking in statesmanship and nobility of character, whichever way it goes, will only enhance the image of the Defendant and in the worst possibility even of conviction, increase his status as a prisoner of conscience.

“Those who opine that if anything happens to Kanu, that the agitation associated with him would suffer or that others would thereby be deterred are merely deceiving themselves and Government.

“A Government that admits that mere words of Kanu has become law, either by legitimate obedience or fear, even while in detention, should think out of the box.

Ebiseni said that “The appropriate mind-set is to admit that Nigeria, as a wobbling contraption of entrenched nationalities, is negotiable and that negotiations do not necessarily lead to dismemberment. Let the dialogue begin now.
