Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, has expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that Nigerians are beginning to understand the president's true character and leadership approach

The governor made the statement in a video shared by TVC on YouTube on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at a time when the performance of Tinubu's government and the country's political future are receiving considerable attention ahead of the 2027 elections.

Uzodimma spoke positively about the president, suggesting that Nigerians were gradually developing a clearer picture of the individual leading the country and his intentions for governance.

According to the governor's remarks, the public is increasingly gaining insight into Tinubu's personality and leadership style, a development that appears to reflect Uzodimma's confidence in the president.

In the video, the Imo State governor declared, "Nigerians have begun to see the man called President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his true colour."

The statement can be viewed as an endorsement of Tinubu's leadership, with Uzodimma indicating that citizens are beginning to form a clearer understanding of the president as his administration continues its work.

Nevertheless, the governor did not elaborate on the specific government policies or presidential decisions that influenced his remarks.

Uzodimma's comments come amid continuing national conversations about the direction and performance of the Tinubu administration. Across Nigeria, citizens remain concerned about economic conditions, the rising cost of living, job creation, security challenges and the impact of government policies on families and businesses.

These issues continue to shape public debate as the country moves closer to the 2027 general elections.
