The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Adebayo Adewole has spoken about his observations on the general elections.

Nigerianewslite

Speaking in an interview, Adewole said INEC as a whole led by professor Mahmood Yakubu didn't make a decision to support a particular party in the elections. He said what he observed is that there are fraudulent people in INEC who secretly worked for various political parties, including the Labour Party in different regions all over the country.

About 1:00 minutes into a video shared on YouTube by MIC ON PODCAST, Adewole said: "You can see that I am not the only one complaining, the PDP is complaining especially former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. He is making a very clear case of collusion, he is saying it. It is not that professor Mahmood Yakubu the chairman of INEC called his commission and said 'let us go and work for this particular person, no'. What I see is that in different parts of the country, even Labour Party they don't like to hear it they will be online trolling you forever, but even Labour Party has INEC people having collusion with them, so all of them have it.

"Let us not deceive ourselves, it is like having a jury of 12 people where each of the jurors is working for one of the parties so it is not as if they came together as a whole and said we are going to be working for APC. So there are places where INEC was against APC in favour of PDP or Labour Party. You could see what happened in Abia and Enugu, APC was not involved but the process still wasn't that credible. What I see and I want us to address is that there is no monolithic decision by INEC to work for a particular party".
