Terrorist camps in Borno State have been bombed by the two Nigeria Air force Super Tucano Jets killing at least 49 Boko Haram fighters.

The military Air operatives of Operation Hadin kai were reportedly responsible for the multiple airstrikes in Borno State, Nigeria.


The terrorist reportedly camped in Gargash, Minna, and Gazuwa, in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State before the airstrikes destroyed their camps.




A previous airstrike targeted Boko Haram's mobile truck in Gargash, killing all its occupants while another airstrike was fired on a Boko Haram location in Minna' leading to the deaths of several Boko Haram insurgents while others escaped with severe injuries.


In Gaza, the Nigerian airforce neutralised 29 Boko Haram members comprising 16 fighters and one truck conveying four fighters.


The Nigerian military has repeatedly unleashed a heavy assault on the terrorist groups around the Northeast of Nigeria but more work needs to be done to completely eradicate insurgency in the region.
